After reading some swedish breeding papers I have understood that the bitch sometimes want´s some kind of hiding over her whelping box. In Sweden some breeders arrange a some kind of a roof over the box to make it more cosy to make it look more like a cave. Maybe Tink would like an arrangement like that to make her more relaxed and ready for the whelping. :)) It is worth a try.
